Teaching philosophy

Learning changes lives for the better! My role is to facilitate learning regardless of my position—constructing positive environments and systems for learning as a dean; inspiring imaginations and capacity for students as a faculty member or challenging myself and my colleagues as continuous learners. In all of these roles, I am a contributor to a university community—seeking a better world and future. For me, I have joined a calling and seek to inspire and engage others in this edu-ecosystem for the benefit of synergistic gain. I love the cultures of the world and hope to incorporate pluralistic perspectives coupled with the development of contemplative wisdom, for me, my colleagues and those we serve.
