Aid opportunities

Eligibility and requirements

Merit-based scholarships

We don't require applications for Lynn's merit-based scholarships, state funding or state financial aid.

As a new student, we determine and award Lynn scholarships upon acceptance. If you're a returning student, scholarships are rewarded at the completion of the academic year.

For state funding, we award you estimated state aid.

International students

There's no need to complete a FAFSA or apply for financial aid—we'll automatically determine your eligibility.

We offer partial academic scholarships to undergraduate international students with exceptional grades and SAT, ACT and TOEFL scores ranging from $7,000 to $21,000 per academic year. These funds are awarded according to achievement level and do not cover the full cost of attendance.

Federal aid

You have financial aid opportunities available to you, including loans, work-study programs and federal grants. The types of aid and amount depends on your FAFSA, so be sure to complete it at studentaid.gov between Oct. 1 and March 1.

Institutional aid

We offer academic, athletics and music scholarships to Lynn students.

When you're accepted, we'll let you know if you qualify for an academic scholarship, and a financial aid counselor will determine your need based on eligibility from your FAFSA.

If you're an athlete or musician, you may receive either an athletic or musician scholarship.

State aid

Florida residents can take advantage of the state-funded financial aid program, including Bright Futures, Florida EASE Grant, Florida Student Assistant Grant and the Florida Prepaid College Plan. Any combination of these programs can reduce the gap between tuition costs and financial aid.

If you live out of state, you can transfer allowed state aid programs to Lynn.

Complete the FAFSA

All U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for federal, state and university financial aid programs.

Visit the FAFSA website for step-by-step instructions and other helpful information.
