Social Impact and Entrepreneurship with Watson InstituteBachelor of Science

Students meet together for a Watson master course with David Lawrence.

Lynn+ Watson Institute

In collaboration with Watson Institute, a mission-driven program for young social entrepreneurs, Lynn's College of Business and Management offers a revolutionary B.S. in social impact and entrepreneurship program for the most promising next-generation innovators, leaders and changemakers.

As one of a select few Watson Scholars, you can be part of a powerful community of social entrepreneurs who will support you in solving the toughest challenges of our time.

Plus, you'll take courses in design thinking and data science, and gain a strong foundation in business strategy and leadership.

You'll have the opportunity to participate in:

  • Watson mentor program: Get paired with a local entrepreneur, innovator and leader based on how well you align with their mission and expertise.
  • Internship program: Get hands-on experience working in an organization where your missions align through three impact internship courses.
  • Impact series teachers: Each week an impact series teacher shares their entrepreneurial journey and mentors you. Past leaders include Jerry White, a leader of Nobel Prize-winning International Campaign to Ban Landmines; Tom Chi, who helped invent Google Glass and the self-driving car; and Erin Schrode, the youngest person to run for U.S. Congress.
