In this visual effects program, you will expand your animation skills by learning advanced special effects techniques from our industry-expert faculty. You will also develop compositing skills, and learn how to create custom motion capture clips. Your coursework will cover design, marketing and promotion, web and multimedia, medical animation, industrial design, automotive visualization and more.

Career opportunities

Texture/surfacing artist

Texture artists provide the touch and feel of the visuals within digital media such as animated movies/TV, graphic design and video games. They bring realism and authenticity to animation and will be highly employable in the vitrual world.

Technical director

Technical directors ensure that a team of animators and graphic designers are proficient in the technical procedures and software needed to create stunning visual effects, conducting training, maintenance and updates to the system.

Animator

Animators bring 2D and 3D art to life through graphic design and storyboards using cutting-edge digital technology. They collaborate with multiple design teams and directors while bringing together audio, video and narrative elements with fluency.
