This master's program offers two different tracks—general or industrial/organizational psychology. No matter the track you choose, you’ll enhance your professional skill set and prepare to work for organizations and corporations after graduation. You will study and work alongside published professors who have presented at conferences on social psychology, personality psychology, developmental psychology, cognitive psychology and more.

This course will explore the psychological impact of social and cultural factors in the field of psychology. The influence of gender, race, age, ethnicity, culture, SES, religious preference, sexual orientation and mental and physical disabilities in psychological research will be examined. Prototyping, stereotyping and prejudice will be examined and interventions appropriate to handling these will be studied. The class will focus on the cultural factors relevant to the workforce, education and counseling.
This course will explore theoretical and practical interpretations of research results in psychology and related disciplines. Specifically, students will study both qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection and analysis. Students will also collect or select data for use in their empirical master's thesis and write a formal proposal that will be improved by the instructor before the student can progress in the program. Students will continue work on this project in Advanced Statistics and complete it in Thesis in Psychology.
This course is an overview of the field of personality psychology, including relevant theories, research, and applications. Emphasis will be placed on patterns and causes of individual differences, as well as how personality interacts with environmental variables to predict behavior.
